Why this website was created ?

The purpose of this website is to show you that travelling without gluten is possible ! To do so, I have created this website as an experience sharing plateform and I hope it will give you the motivation to jump in.
There are already different groups that exist on Facebook, websites, books, collaborative maps and I thank very much all the persons that participate to create those amazing contents. It is in this context that I add my contribution by creating this website with my very perosonal touch. I hope this resource will be complementary to the ones already in existence and will be valuable for your travels.
In the section « Gluten-free world », you will find my experience shared by country. I will detail things to know and points of vigilancemy feedback and tested addresses as well as an interactive map to select addresses according to your preferences.
This website is meant to be a place of sharing so don’t hesitate to comment, to share your own stories, your tips and tricks, the addresses you have tested in order to make the content even more comprehensive.

I would also like to convey you the passion to travel and you will be able to find various information by country in « A world of adventures ». You will find information on how to prepare you travel, the budget expected for such a trip as well as our travel story.
Several platforms already share advices and information on travel and they do it very well. The idea is not to reinvent the wheel this is why those information will be shared in a summarized way here as well as the links to all the resources used.

Finally a third, rather unusual section, was added and was created for the curious ones. In « A taste of science », scientific papers are used to provide a synthesis of complex subjects whether it is about gluten or travel. It can be anything from gluten to travel. It can be subject such as « Why soy sauce is made with wheat flour ? » or « Is coeliac disease present in Asia ? » or « what is our footprint when travelling ? ».

Because together we are stronger.

How this website is maintained and what are the associated resources ?

Behind this website and the associated resources there are Kévin and Eva.
By deciding to create these different sharing platforms, it seemed obvious to us to offer the best experience by disabling ads on our website and having no sponsors in order to be free to share our opinions transparently. If in the future, we were to have collaborations, it would be because we truly believe n the added value of the collaboration and we woulc explicitly communicate it. We sincerely hope that these platforms will be useful to you and our intention is not to make money. However some people have already asked us how they can help and it is in this context that we have created a donation platform. It is true that setting up these platforms takes time and sometime even a little money. Through donations, we will be able to maintain these platforms over time with the same level of service, keep updating them and perhaps improve certain tools.
